Once again…. In her first start, Monarch Stables’ Two-Year-Old filly, The Royal Boot, was much the best of her eight rivals leading gate to wire in a four and a half furlong sprint winning by an impressive 10 1/2 lengths at Calder Race Course on Friday. The filly from Chapel Royal’s first crop of Florida foals is out of the winning Storm Boot mare, Sally Got the Boot. She was bred in Florida by Frank Bertolino and trained by David Vivian.
Chapel Royal is currently leading all Florida sires by number of winners for 2012 with 58, and also by number of Two-Year-Old winners. Progeny earnings are $1,288,801.
